HaLoWeEn

Well we had a very fun and eventfull Halloween. The kids went to a trunk-or-treat yesterday so we just took it easy tonight. We visited grandma's and grandpa's, Aunt's and Uncles, did a little trick-or-treating around the neightborhood and called it a good night.

Braxton was a Evil Jester

MaKayla was a beautiful chinese girl

ShaeLynn was also a beautiful chinese girl

OoPs

Well we had an adventurous day yesterday. MaKayla had her 7 year well check appointment and was due for 2 shots. So I literally had to pick her up, lay her on the table and hold her down as the nurses pull down her pants to give the shots to her in her legs... She was screeming the whole time... When we were done we went up to Grandma Pokey's and she cried the whole way (about a 20 min drive). Well that wasn't enough for one day, so we went to the Huntsville park and Ian was having fun on the playground equiptment and fell and bumped his head and slit his eyelid open... so we had to take a trip to the emergency room... It turned out pretty good though, he didn't even have to have 1 needle. They put a topical medicine on the cut that numbed the cut, then they cleaned it out and glued it shut. It really made things nice exept for the fact that hospitals take way too long to treat their patients. Well hopefully the drama is over and we can get back to all of the many other busy things that life has to offer.

RoAd IsLaNd DiNnEr

We stopped at a new diner in Oakley on the way home from the cabin. You may have seen it on the news. It was pretty good, there isn't much room so we had a bit of a wait but the kids had fun.

K... So my sister-in-law says we always talk about the cabin and tell her we will take her and in all of the many years that she has been married to my brother she has never been there...so she says the cabin does not exist :).. I have posted pictures of our cabin for everyone to see. It really does exist. It is located in a little town called Hanna, UT. It takes about 2 hours to get there. Our cabin does not have any running water or electricity and we have lots of fun. We travel up to the cabin random weekends during the summer and every year during the deer and elk hunt our guys stay for a week straight. After the deer hunt is over we winterize everthing then wait until spring to return. And we have to spend all winter listening to the kids ask us when we are going to go to the cabin again...We have gone up in the winter to check on the cabin before and it is just way too cold with lots of snow to even try enjoy any stay at the cabin duing the winter.

HaLoWeEn is coming

Halloween is coming

My kids are getting so excited about Halloween. The girls are going to be little chinese women, Braxton is going to be a Joker, and we are still working on Ian...he says he wants to be spiderman, but I am leaning more towards a pirate...of course spiderman really does fit him he is always climbing up everything. Braxton can't wait to go to the haunted houses. Last year we went to the Fronk's Haunted Oaks in North Ogden and he just loved it.

So it has definatly been a while since I posted anything about us. I guess that goes to show we are pretty busy. Brady has been working hard, playing flag football and volleyball and getting ready for the elk hunt. Braxton just got done with Football, now we can focus more on shcool. MaKayla and Shae are Dancing at Jenny's Jazz, and MaKayla is playing soccer. And well I am just trying to keep up with everything still working a few days a week.
